Job Summary
Provides a wide range of support to Deposit Operations Manager and all other Bank departments. In particular, this position is responsible for monitoring and processing all items related to the Deposit Operations of the Bank.
Primary Responsibilities
Handling telephone/email inquiries from personnel of other departments, regarding deposit account activities.
Assist with customer debit card issues.
Assist with online banking issues.
Quality Assurance review of all New/Changed deposit accounts
Pull and check daily reports to verify entries
Handle balancing of Cash Items, ATM, and various General Ledger accounts
Assist Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer with BSA compliance
Process Cash Management ACH, Wires, Bank Levys, and Federal Reserve adjustments; Manually return ACH files as necessary
Research and resolve customer debit card disputes
Perform various research projects as assigned
Assist with other operations as time and circumstances permit
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
General computer knowledge with multiple systems, including Microsoft Office
Ability to multitask
Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with personnel of other departments
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to recognize irregular or suspicious transactions and take appropriate steps to prevent loss
Education and Experience
High School Diploma
General banking knowledge, technical certification, or comparable work experience
Previous banking experience preferred
*This position will comply with all BSA compliance laws and regulations including the Banks BSA policy and procedures.
